8 Powerful Ways to Stop Wasting Your Life

Powerful Ways to Stop Wasting Your Life
When you feel like you are wasting your life, it’s a sure sign you should change your path. It’s easy to get stuck in a job you hate, because you need those money to pay off your debts or simply raise a family. You are tired of hanging out with people who make you feel miserable. You are tired of trying to save your unhealthy relationship. You have to do many things you don’t want to do because you think it’s your responsibility. If any of these sounds familiar to you, stop for a minute. Do you really have time to waste your life? Unfortunately, we can’t live forever, which is why it’s so important to stop wasting your life right now.

1. End any unhealthy relationship

Do you have a toxic friend? Are you in an abusive relationship? End any unhealthy relationship for good and don’t waste your time on people who make you feel bad about yourself. Don’t let them ruin your life and don’t try to ruin their lives. On this matter, I really love this powerful quote by Matareva Pearl: “Don’t waste your time on revenge. Those who hurt you will eventually face their own karma.” Let go of toxic people today to feel and live happier tomorrow.

2. Prioritize your work

When you have many important tasks to accomplish during the day, it’s important that your prioritize your work. Try to accomplish the most difficult tasks first. Don’t distract yourself with social media, emails and phone calls. If you feel overwhelmed, take a short break or nap, or go for a short walk. It will help you clear your mind and accomplish other tasks faster.

3. Manage your time properly

One of the best ways to stop wasting your life is to learn how to manage your time properly. Plan your day ahead of time, create to-do lists and set realistic goals to get the most out of each hour you are awake. Not only will you stop wasting your precious time, you will become successful and happy as well.
4. Stop procrastinating
We are all guilty of procrastinating. With today’s technological advances, we spend too much time on unnecessary things. I’m still trying to get rid of this habit and I always recommend others to do the same. I don’t know about you, but procrastinating makes me feel depressed. I feel like I’m wasting my precious time and can’t do anything with it. One of my effective ways to stop procrastinating is to set a goal and find a good reason to accomplish it as faster as I can. When I know that the task is extremely important, I forget about my phone, social media and TV. I just focus on that task because I know I don’t have a minute to waste.

5. Spend your free time effectively

When you have free time, don’t spend it watching TV or surfing the Internet. Spend your free time with your family or friends, volunteer, read books or maintain a garden. There are many wonderful and useful things you can do instead of spending your precious minutes in front of your computer or TV.

6. Don’t do anything that you don’t want to do

If you hate your job, look for another one. When you do what you don’t want to do, you are just wasting your life. It’s easier said than done, but you never know what you can do until you try it. Try to do anything you’d like to do and choose the best option for you and your family. Do what you like and you will never work a day in your life!
If you don’t want to go to a party or a date, don’t go, no matter who invited you. If you want to stay home or visit your parents, do it. You are the only one who can decide what to do in your life.
7. Get enough sleep
When I was younger, I thought sleeping 7-8 hours a night is a waste of time. I slept 3-4 hours a night and was happy that I had a lot of free time. Before I realized that it’s a terrible habit I almost ruined my health. Don’t repeat my mistake. Get enough sleep each night to stay healthy and live longer. If you want to stop wasting your life, go to bed earlier and wake up earlier. This way, you will trick yourself into thinking that you have more time to accomplish all your tasks.

8. Set realistic goals

When setting goals, make sure they are realistic. We often waste our lives on goals that we can’t reach, no matter how hard we try. Eliminate goals that are not worth finishing from your life and think of the goals that will fill your life with success, joy and happiness.
Your time and life are those precious things you should appreciate each day. Don’t take your life for granted and don’t waste it. I know many people who say that they hate their lives and it’s so awful. Love yourself, love your life and do what you want to do. You will feel happier and your life may become easier. Do you feel like you are wasting your life?

5 Surefire Ways to Unleash Your Creative Potential

Ways to Unleash Your Creative Potential
Do you consider yourself a creative person? I believe that every person is a creative human being. Modern people can hardly find and release their talents, because they’re blind to many evident things. They have no connection with their inner self and don’t take the favors of their souls seriously.
Creativity is not only the ability to sing, draw or write poems. Your ability to think in a unique way is the best blessing. It doesn’t matter what type of thinking is predominant in your mind. I know many rationalists who cannot imagine their lives without art, music and other creative activities. Wise people say that creative vitality is everywhere. Human bodies are apt to accumulate and use it up at discretion. Everything depends on your personal ability to grasp and feel this energy.
Childhood plays an important role in the process of creative personality formation. Almost all children are very imaginative and sensitive. Their heads are always full of unusual and interesting ideas. Excessive criticism and negative attitude at home usually make children’s talents fade away. If you want to renew your creative spirit and reconnect with your inner potential, you should remember your childish interests and hobbies. Let yourself go beyond the bounds of casual life. It’s a challenging thing, because many adults have numerous blocks and self-imposed limitations. The feelings of despair, resentment, envy and dissatisfaction can also block the development of your talents. Get rid of these blocks and you’ll be able to open up and release your creative potential in a quite short period of time. I hope these wise pieces of advice will come you in handy.

1. Overcome your childhood fears

Childhood is one of the most difficult and responsible stages of life. The success and prosperity of a future adult depends on the quality of upbringing and family environment. Parents can exert either negative or positive influence on children’s mind and future, because kids can’t set priorities and make life altering decisions without their parents’ approval.
When I was a child, I couldn’t imagine my life without music. My cherished dream to become a popular pop star made me exert every effort. I spent evenings singing and dancing like a pop diva in front of the mirror. Unfortunately, my parents didn’t mark my zeal and treated it with a sneer. Constant remarks and mockery in their looks forced me to give up my first dream.
Now, I’m an adult and I know that my creative potential is sleeping in the depth of my heart. Psychologists state that parental incompetence and indifference often kill children’s creativity and fill their hearts with fears. When they become adults they have to attend personal development courses to get rid of fears and uncertainty. Self-cultivation and different psychological techniques will quickly awaken their interest in old hobbies and help them unleash their creative potential.

2. Keep on thinking

Nowadays a stressful and busy life makes people get lost in their thoughts and feelings. They’re sick and tired of obsessive thoughts and deep reflections on the meaning of life. I’ve noticed that creative personalities are always thinking about something. It seems that they’re roaming in a world of their own. They let brilliant ideas ripen in their mind. My friend, who is a musician, says that prior thoughts and different everyday situations give her an opportunity to broaden her horizons.
Active lifestyle and positive thinking are the main priorities of creative people. If you want to elicit your creative potential, you should fill your head with thoughts. Those who just accept everything and prefer to go with the stream will never become the masters of creativity. It means that both positive and negative events inspire creative people to make miracles.
Emotionally weak and too sentimental people should be careful of their thoughts, because the power of negative thinking can easily damage their mental well-being. Try to think about something wonderful as much as possible. As usual, creative people focus on love, friendship and other moral values.

3. Believe in your victory

Faith has always been one of the most powerful things in this world. It’s almost impossible to reach goals without faith and hope. If you want to become highly creative person, you should strengthen the confidence in your abilities and uniqueness. You shouldn’t fear your twisted and insane ideas, because they are the significant part of your artistic soul. Try to take an advantage of these unusual thoughts and realize that all creative people have a spark.
Abiding faith in your victory will help you treat constant remarks of people optimistically. You shouldn’t let their actions and pessimistic points of view kill your desire to bring creativity into your life. Furthermore, you should be extremely productive and active; faith without works is dead.

4. Have a creative day every weekend

At least once a week you should find time to pay a visit to a park, museum, exhibition or café alone. When you’re alone, you have more chances to hear your inner voice and feel the creative energy running through your veins. You’ll be able to focus your attention on the beauty of various creative places. Don’t take friends with you, because their giggling and funny jokes will distract you from enjoying the greatest masterpieces of visual arts. I’m sure these days will fill your mind with interesting and creative ideas.

5. Follow your inspiration

It’s high time to understand that inspiration and desire are crucially important to you. Boring activities and undesirable jobs usually bring hatred and apathy into the life of people who tend to prioritize money and fame in their lives. Most happy and successful people prefer to follow their inspiration and dream. Only your interests and dreams can inspire you to reach universal heights. It’s extremely difficult to stop and disillusion a motivated and inspired person.
Nowadays many people dream of unleashing their creative potential, because their jobs often require creative approach. I also can’t imagine this world without creative people who add colors and positivity to my life.
It’s been proved that all people have a chance of becoming creative. All you have to do is learn how to cope with childhood fears and criticism. Step by step, you’ll unlock and explore your creative potential. What is creativity for you? We’d like to know your secret of living a happy and creative life. Share your point of view!

9 Things You Should Never Say to Men

Things You Should Never Say to Men
Words can ruin any relationship in a matter of minutes. You might have been together for years, but once you say one of the things women should never say to men, you may end up with heartbreak. Women are tend to be highly sensitive, but men, albeit they are brave and patient, can get hurt too. Some men are like children and it’s hard to build a serious relationship with them. But if you love such a man, you should avoid being clingy and needy, because they are clingy and needy. Moreover, they don’t like when you say something that they don’t want to hear about. Even if you will run away from a needy man, it’s important that you avoid saying one of these things to your partner.

1. You are a “mama’s boy”

You are a mama's boy
Dating a “mama’s boy” is always hard, but if you love your man and want to spend your life with him, you should never say that he is a “mama’s boy.” Accept this fact and don’t try to change him. If your man is a “mama’s boy” in his 20s, he will be “mama’s boy” in his 40s. Are you ready for it? If yes, then love and appreciate his mom more than your mom, and he will love you till the end of his life. Personally I avoid this type of men because any wrong word about him or his mother can ruin your relationship in a jiff. This is a lesson I learned from my own experience.

4 Smart Things You Can Do When You Can’t Fall Asleep

Smart Things You Can Do When You Can't Fall Asleep
If you occasionally can’t fall asleep and you don’t know what to do to trick yourself to sleep, here are a few tips to follow. There are many reasons why you can’t sleep when you need to sleep. Stress is one of the most common reasons. It can keep you awake until morning and you may end up feeling drowsy, fatigued, and irritable. You won’t be able to accomplish any task during the day and it can lead to another stressful and sleepless night.
However, stress is not the only reason of insomnia. Sometimes you can’t fall asleep for no reason. You are calm and happy and you don’t have any problems, but you still have difficulty falling asleep. Another reason of insomnia is irregular sleep schedules. It’s important to wake up and fall asleep at the same time every day. Irregular sleep schedules can lead to a chronic insomnia and then you will need to consult your doctor in order to improve your sleep.
When you can’t sleep, it’s crucial to find a smart activity that will help you fall asleep in a matter of several minutes. Don’t just lie waiting for a miracle. When you can’t sleep and you do nothing, you start worrying about it, or worse, you start overthinking your past problems and events. Here are 5 smart things you can do every time you can’t fall asleep.

1. Write a journal

Grab your journal and start writing about your worries, troubles and problems. It’s a good way to stop thinking about them. Once you write them down, start thinking about the happiest moments in your life. Write them down. Now, write down 10 things you are grateful for in your life. Thinking and writing about happy things can help you fall asleep faster, sleep better and wake up happier in the morning. If writing a journal is not for you, take a piece of paper and start writing some happy and interesting small story. Some people claim that it helps them fight insomnia.
Keeping a journal has many wonderful benefits. It can help reduce your stress levels, get rid of negative thoughts, find a better solution to your problem and can help you see the most positive things in your life.

2. Meditate

Meditation is extremely popular these days. It’s one of the best ways to cope with stress, anxiety and depression. Meditation is also known to prevent and fight sleep disorders. It will calm the your mind and body and hopefully help you fall asleep easily and sleep all night long. Praying before bed is also a good option to consider.
3. Read a book
Reading in bed is a popular and effective way to fall asleep faster. If you are not a book junkie, read any book you’ll find at home. 20 minutes of reading will make you feel bored and sleepy and you will drop off to sleep without noticing it. If you are a book lover, avoid reading any interesting and favorite books, or you may end up reading that book all night long. Opt for an inspirational or science book that you didn’t want to read before. My friend says that learning poetries by heart helps her to fight stress and insomnia. It’s a ridiculous thing to do when you can’t fall asleep, but why not? Give it a try, who knows maybe it will help you too.

4. Play with your pet

When I can’t fall asleep, I love to play with my cat. I usually don’t have enough time to play with her during the day and even in the evening (though I try to spend at least 20 minutes with her each day), so when I stay awake at night I have some time to play with my beloved pet. She helps me relax, get rid of negative thoughts, combat stress and sleep better. If you have a pet, consider playing with her/him a few minutes before bed.
These are some of the best things to do when you have trouble falling asleep. Don’t take a nap late in the day, avoid watching TV and checking emails and social media before bed. Moreover, avoid any conflicts with your family members. If possible, switch off your phone in the evening, or before bedtime. I hope these small tips will help you. What do you do when you can’t fall asleep?

12 Things Every 20-Something Girl Wants in Life

It’s hard to read a girl’s mind and know what she really wants in life, but there are certain things every 20-something girl wants in life. When you are in your 20s, you need to adopt many important habits and get rid of old ones. You need to set your life goals and think of the ways to reach them. You need to learn how to take smart decisions and take responsibilities. In fact, there are many things every woman should do before she turns 30, but these 12 are just some of the most desirable things every 20-something girl wants in life.

1. Freedom

Most 20-something girls want freedom. They want to live alone and do everything they want to do. They have listened to their parents for years and now they want to be independent. They want to date any guy they like without worrying that their mom or dad can say something bad to him. A 20-something girl wants to enjoy this life to the fullest before she becomes a mom.

2. A well-paid job

In order to be independent we need money. Every 20-something girl wants to find a well-paid job. Even if she has a good job, she is trying to find a better one, or at least dreaming of it. When looking for a well-paid job, a 20-something girl pays attention to the stuff and employer, because she doesn’t want to have a strict boss. Freedom is priority for her.
3. Love
Every girl dreams of finding Mr. Right but often find Mr. Wrong. A 20-something girl wants to have a serious relationship. She wants to love and be loved. Love is not a top priority for her, which is why it’s so hard for her to find a good guy and start a serious relationship.

4. True friends

While we all want to have true friends, a 20-something girl is just looking for them. When you are in your 20s, it’s difficult to see fake friends, especially when you have lots of friends. A 20-something girl has to deal with toxic people more often than a 30-something woman, so she wants to finally find at least one true friend she can trust and share all her worries and secrets with.

5. Expensive things

20-something girls want to buy expensive things. Parents can’t afford to buy pricey things, and it’s absolutely okay. When we have a job and we live alone, we can afford to purchase at least one expensive thing a month or a year. When a 20-something girl has a well-paid job, she definitely want to buy expensive beauty products, gadgets, clothes and jewelry.
6. Car
A busy 20-something girl wants to have a car to accomplish her tasks faster. She doesn’t have a lot of time for commuting and she is trying to find some smart options. When you are in your early 20s, you probably can’t afford a new car, so why not buy a used car? It’s a good option and one of your dreams will come true.

7. House

Buying a house is not an easy thing. Some people can’t make this dream come true even in their 40s. A 20-something woman wants to buy a house and she works hard to reach this goal. She believes in herself and she believes every woman should have her own house in order to be independent.

8. Garden

Most 20-something women want to buy a small or big house and have a small or big garden. They want to plant their favorite flowers and grow their own healthy fruits and vegetables. They want to maintain a garden for themselves and their children. Such a wonderful dream, by the way!

9. Children

Speaking of children, most women want to have children. It’s believed that women in their 20s don’t want to have kids. It’s actually a wrong belief. Every woman wants to be a mother, even if she never talks about it. The problem is, a woman should do so many things before having a child that it’s hard to talk about children in her 20s.

10. Volunteer

A 20-something woman wants to help others and she does everything she can. She enjoys volunteering whenever she has free time. When she doesn’t have time to visit shelters, she makes donations or feeds stray animals. She believes volunteering makes this world a better place to live in.

11. Pets

Yes, pets. Pets can make your life happier and you will never feel lonely when you have a furry friend at home. An independent and single 20-something woman wants to own a pet, but often she can’t do it because of her busy schedules. She will definitely make this dream come true in future, if she really wants it.
12. Travel
A 20-something girl wants to grow as a person. Discovering new places, learning about new cultures and meeting different people can help her to achieve this goal. Traveling is a great experience and its has many fantastic benefits. No wonder, most people enjoy traveling and spend lots of money on their trips.
A 20-something woman wants to reach many goals and do many things. You may say that not every 20-something girl wants these 12 things in life, but think again. You may not think about these things in your 20s, but I’m sure that you want to buy a house and a car, get a well-paid job and travel around the world, don’t you?
